The Crimean National Park last Sunday, on the eve of the Day of Partisans and Underground Fighters, held a reconstruction of the battle with the Nazi invaders for the guests of the peninsula.
In the course of a large-scale spectacular performance at the Nikitsky Pass, episodes of the Great Patriotic War were restored with the recreation of bloody battles and the capture of an impromptu Reichstag. Representatives of the military-historical clubs of Sevastopol took part in the reconstruction. Also, everyone tasted the soldier's porridge and visited the Museum of Partisan Glory at the Krasny Kamen cordon. On this day, the entrance fee to the park from visitors, amounting to 1200 rubles, was not charged.
In Russia, since 2010, June 29 has been considered a memorable date dedicated to the memory of underground fighters and partisan troops who fought during the Great Patriotic War. The partisan movement of Crimea, which became a separate heroic page in the history of the peninsula, was formed in late October - early November 1941. More than 60 partisan detachments operated in Crimea. During the occupation, Crimean partisans and underground fighters killed about 30 thousand enemy soldiers and Nazi accomplices. More than 3 thousand partisans and members of the underground movement were awarded orders and medals.
