New British Airways boss Sean Doyle called pre-flight testing of passengers the only way to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We do not believe that quarantine is a solution. We believe the best way to reassure people is to introduce a reliable and affordable pre - flight test," he told reporters.

Air carriers in the UK do not stop criticizing the decision of the country's authorities to send to a 14-day quarantine people arriving  from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation.

This measure affected demand and forced British airlines to review their flight programs for the next few months.
