Representatives of the Arctic Tourism Laboratory visited facilities in the Tersky region and analyzed resources to improve the existing tourism product.

Among them are the historical and ethnographic complex Tonya "Tetrina", which is a restored sea farm, where you can get acquainted with the life and culture of the Pomors, as well as the Pomeranian village of Olenitsa, where you can see rare mineral formations of glendonites. They are called "White Sea fliers".

The expedition also took part in the celebrations dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Petroglyphs of Kanozero Museum-Reserve.

In addition, experts assessed the possibilities of public catering establishments in Umba and accommodation facilities - guest houses in Kuzrek, Varzuga and Umba.

In the Umbian House of Culture, tourists are offered to take part in a master class on making a twisted doll and join the Pomeranian Evening folklore program. Representatives of the House of Culture presented to the experts a project on event tourism - the Arctic festival "Northern Frosts".

The press service of the Committee for Tourism of the Murmansk region reported that the experts discovered many new ideas for the formation of tours.
