Russian tourists can travel to China on the Amur River without a visa

Visa-free trips across the Amur from Khabarovsk to Chinese Fuyuan have been resumed for Russian tourists.

According to the Ministry of Tourism of the Far Eastern region, the tours started on August 18. Groups are formed from 5 to 50 people. Russians can stay in China for up to 15 days without visas.

The resumption of visa-free travel for tour groups from Russia on a regular basis is planned this week. Three Amur tour operators, which are included in the list of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, will send tourists to the Celestial Empire, ttelegraf.ru reports.
