Russia intends to initiate negotiations on the resumption of international aviation communications from July 15, according to Interfax citing Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova.
The Ministry of Transport and the Federal Air Transport Agency will inform the government about the progress of the negotiations.
“Now, regarding the date of the possible resumption of air traffic. We propose July 15,” the deputy prime minister was quoted as saying.
She said that three epidemiological criteria were formed that should guide countries to resume air traffic, in particular, the incidence rate should be a maximum of 40% per 100 thousand people, the average daily increase in new cases over 14 days can be no more than 1%, and the prevalence rate infection should not exceed one point.
According to media reports, now all tourists, instead of self isolation, will be asked to take a coronavirus test or submit a certificate confirming a negative result, received at least three days before arrival.
