Abu Dhabi International Airport has been officially renamed Zayed International Airport. The airport was named after Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan  who founded the United Arab Emirates and became its first president.

In honor of this event, a solemn event is held at the airport and a new design of the aircraft factory is presented.

The airport with an area of more than 700 thousand square meters was opened at the end of 2023, and in December 2023, the airport schedule already numbered 117 tourist destinations.
