On the International Volunteer Day on December 5, Kenozersky National Park announced the opening of the volunteer season-2024. As promised in the park, next year will bring a lot of new things for the volunteers. The staff of the protected areas are confident that among the 16 volunteer programs, everyone will find something to their liking.
"We are not standing still and continue to please you with new programs. If you want to try yourself in collecting herbs, then you should go to the "Grass-ant". If you are interested in how ecological routes are created, you will be interested in the project "Trolley roads. Mailakhta-Zehnova-Spitsyna". Or maybe you want to help in clearing the territory for the subsequent installation of the information center, then the camp "Where the village of Nemyata went" is for you," the message on the national park's website says.
In addition, the specialists of the protected areas note that for many years they have been carrying out haymaking in Kenozero villages, trying to preserve the traditional landscape of the northern village.
"Decoding the audio materials collected by the park staff and processing photographs for the expositions of future museums is an equally important task, to which we involve volunteers," the national Park said.
You can learn more about the conditions of participation in the projects of the Kenozersky National Park on its official website in the section "Volunteering".
