The Gzhel Porcelain Factory has emerged victorious in the "Golden Ring Tourist Souvenir" interregional competition, according to the press service of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Moscow Region. The factory's winning entry was a specially designed series of coffee cups featuring landmarks from Vladimir and Uglich.
The competition drew over 140 applications from creators and producers of tourist souvenirs from Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kostroma, Pereslavl-Zalessky, Rostov, Suzdal, Uglich, Yaroslavl, and the Moscow Region.
"The works were evaluated by an expert council comprised of representatives from Yaroslavl, Kostroma, Vladimir, Suzdal, and Sergiev Posad. Their high evaluation and recognition entitle the products to bear the sticker 'Recommended by the Association of Cities of the Golden Ring,'" the statement reads.
The Gzhel Porcelain Factory's product range encompasses over 700 types of items, from tableware to unique pieces and sculptures. Each product from the factory bears the company's trademark and the artist's personal signature.
