The Investment Council of the Republic of Crimea supported the construction of a gambling zone near the village of Katsiveli in Big Yalta. The total investment in the project will exceed 3 billion rubles, while all construction projects in the developed 15 hectares of the territory are planned to be commissioned by the beginning of 2024.

“This is one of the largest investment projects on the South Coast, and the entire peninsula as a whole,” EcoTourism Expert was told in the press service of the managing company for infrastructure projects.

«The gaming zone will create more than 250 additional jobs; in the first 10 years, revenues from it to budgets of various levels will amount to over 1 billion rubles.»

Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Konstantinov, in turn, is confident that the gambling zone, which received the “speaking” name “Golden Coast”, will become an architectural decoration of the peninsula.

“There haven’t been any projects with such original architecture in Crimea yet,” he said. “With no doubt the project will strengthen the resort sector of Crimea, which is perfectly proved by the experience of the Krasnodar Territory, and we can safely expect an increase in the flow of tourists to the region, the development of the hotel business and the catering industry.”
