Crimea is the most popular destination among Russian autotourists

The majority of Russians said that car travel is their most preferred form of recreation, and Crimea turned out to be among their favorite destinations following  a survey conducted by the OneTwoTrip service.

According to the survey, 97.7% of the respondents enjoy car travel, while 88.7% had the journey by car at least once in their life. Most of the survey participants, namely 17%, would like to go by car to the Crimea, 11% - to the Krasnodar Territory, 6% each - to St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, 5% - to the Caucasus, 4.8% - to Kazan.

Some Russians also dream of traveling by car in Karelia, to the cities of the Golden Ring, or to Gorny Altai, as well as to Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod. Nevertheless, only about 40% of Russians are ready to spend more than two days driving.
