The Nepalese authorities are introducing a new rule. Every climber during the ascent is now required to have a location tracking chip. The chip will need to be sewn into the jacket. For 10-15 dollars, you can rent it and return it after completing the route.

This measure is aimed at ensuring the safety of climbers. In case of an emergency, this will help rescuers find a person faster.

Everest is called the mountain of death. The death of climbers can be caused by lack of oxygen, heart failure, frostbite or injury. Groups of climbers on Everest pass by many unburied corpses scattered on the slopes of Death Mountain.
