Chinese tour operators intend to combine a visit to the Black Sea coast of the Krasnodar Territory and South Coast in one cruise. According to the press service of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, EcoTourism Expert was informed that during a meeting of representatives of the PRC tourism industry with Crimean parliamentarians, for this purpose there will be a cruise ship that will run between two popular resort destinations in southern Russia.

According to the head of the Committee of the State Council on Tourism, Resorts and Sports, Alexei Chernyak, one of the leading travel companies in China, who sends over 4 million tourists a year to foreign voyages, became interested in the project. Currently, there is only one cruise in the region that is carried out along the route Sochi - Novorossiysk - Yalta - Sevastopol with the only liner “Prince Vladimir”, therefore the market niche is practically free.

Earlier, tour operators of the People’s Republic of China have already proposed organizing tours that include visits to the Crimea and other regions of the Russian Federation in their program. According to the first deputy minister of resorts and tourism of the Crimea, Igor Kotlyar, it can become ten-day tours with Chinese tourists visiting Moscow, St. Petersburg and Crimea, three days in each region. An option is also being considered - five days each in Sochi and the Crimea.

The authorities of the region are also actively negotiating with investors from the Celestial Empire who are interested in building 17 yacht marinas, within the region’s economic development strategy.
