The Austrian authorities have decided to lift quarantine measures for tourists from May 16, according to the country's tourism website.

Now tourists from all countries do not have to provide a certificate of vaccination, certificates of illness or a negative test.

These documents were needed to visit public places such as museums, bars or restaurants.

Direct communication between Russia and Austria has not yet been restored, but Russian tourists can use alternative channels of communication with Europe.
