A ten-year-old tigress with a complex character, caught in the Khasansky district of Primorye, was released into the taiga after rehabilitation. This is reported by the Amur Tiger Center, whose specialists have been engaged in the "re-education" of the wayward striped beauty for several months.

The predator got into rehabilitation in April this year due to the fact that she attacked dogs near settlements.

Observation in the center showed that the tigress is adapted to an independent life: she is healthy, hunts regularly and is afraid of people, does not come into contact with him.

Therefore, it was decided to release it into its natural habitat. And the previously displayed conflict behavior, most likely, was caused by the loss of tiger cubs.

Now the striped taiga thunderstorm will live in the Amur region, far from settlements and temptations in the form of dogs, in a protected area where there are enough ungulates and where an adult male is already entering from a neighboring region.

As a reminder, this is already the second tigress released in the Amur region this year. The tigress Sanda has been settling in the south of the region since May.
