A new tourist trail has been opened in Sochi, which is meant to increase immunity among people.

It will operate in one of the resort’s oldest parks, Southern Cultures. According to Olga Pegova, deputy director for environmental education and tourism of the Caucasus Nature Reserve, a phytoncide trail was developed during the quarantine. It lies in the Southern Cultures park along coniferous, eucalyptus alleys, past trees that secrete useful substances.

A special map with the trail will be available at the box office of the park from July 1.

The walk on the trail will take about an hour and a half.

After removing the restrictions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, excursions dedicated to the study of plants will take place along the phytoncide trail. Despite the continuation of quarantine in the Krasnodar Territory, the Southern Cultures Park has already been opened and is operating as usually. Social distancing is obligatory while visiting the park.
