More than 450 people, despite the rain, took to the Vladivostok Run in support of the Amur tiger, which opened the first day of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum. At 07:00, the participants of the EEF-2022 and the residents of Vladivostok entered the 5 km distance, which started at the oceanarium on Russky Island.

Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Lilia Akhaimova held a warm-up for runners and took part in the awards ceremony.

The winners of the race among the participants of the EEF-2022 were Denis Gaidenkov (07:37) and Maria Karpova (09:43). The fastest among the residents of Primorsky Krai were Alexander Smirnov (07:16) and Olga Kucherenko.

For the first time, a corporate classification was organized at the race in support of the Amur tiger.

“We strive to involve all Russians in solving environmental and social problems. As part of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities”, we are systematically carrying out this work through our projects, competitions and olympiads. For example, in the “Another thing” development program, users of the project’s special application in VK receive points for completing useful tasks, and then exchange them for bonuses from partners in the form of trips around Russia, professional internships and meetings with stars, training courses, or participation in a charity run , as today. And today these participants run with us! Also this year, we launched a separate project to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle among Russians - Ecosophy. Let this race once again remind us of why we should unite our efforts and preserve the unique flora and fauna of our country,” said Alexei Komissarov, Director General of ANO Russia – the Land of Opportunities, at the opening ceremony of the race.

The sports and entertainment program of the 7th Eastern Economic Forum will be held under the Vladivostok Open brand and will unite events in 12 sports. Vladivostok Open is operated by RK-Sport, the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation.
