On June 11 the Russian tourist forum "Travel!" will launch the program "More than a Journey" that will present a training workshop on creating a unique tourism product and practical teamwork on a new semantic route.
On the same day, the lecture “Towards Adventures: Youth Journeys” will take place. The organizer of these events will be ANO More than a Journey, Roscongress reported.
“More than a Journey” is a program that unites more than 100,000 young people that have already been able to see the unique places of our country, as well as want to get acquainted with the achievements of universities and industrial enterprises, develop their own socially significant project and find new friends,” the foundation said.
At least 75 thousand people go on trips around the country every year. These are active participants, prize-winners and winners of all-Russian children's and youth projects.
As Roscongress noted, in addition to getting to know the natural, cultural, and historical features of the regions, young people visit Russian production facilities, educational organizations, and other significant sites in the country. Program participants have the opportunity to contribute to the development of cities, participate in volunteer activities, become travel co-authors, receive an internship and employment offer, or apply the acquired knowledge in their native region.
The organizer of the program "More than a trip" is Rosmolodezh.
Forum and festival "Travel!" will be held from 8 to 11 June in Moscow at VDNKh.
