The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation has announced that nine ski resorts in Russia will receive 31.8 billion rubles in support as part of the "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" national project. These funds can be invested in infrastructure development.
Supported Projects:
"Three Volcanoes Park" ski resort in Kamchatka Krai: This future resort will unite the peninsula's attractions and various tourism sectors, including wellness tourism using the region's unique balneological resources and year-round active tourism in the mountains. The complex is expected to be able to accommodate over half a million guests annually.
"Rai-Iz" ski complex in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug: By 2035, it is planned to build 20 km of trails, seven lifts, snowmaking systems, a service and tourist center with a ski school and a rental center on its territory.
Ski infrastructure near the Altai Palace hotel complex in Altai Krai: A chairlift and six trails of varying difficulty levels will be created with state support. The resort is planned to be year-round and will be able to accommodate up to 650,000 tourists annually.
Support for Existing Resorts:
The program of subsidized loans will also support the development of existing ski resorts in the Altai, Urals, and North Caucasus regions.
